Learning Studio OUTREACH is at the forefront of creating educational programs to support Riverside families and surrounding communities.
Thanks to generous donors, MLSO offers a variety of programs throughout the year. FREE Math Tutoring, Reading + Math = FUN! and more, see below.
Private Tutoring and a variety of offerings
Always private 1-1 tutoring and small groups
Private 1-1 Tutoring
Tutoring is typically scheduled 2 days a week, Mon/Wed or Tue/thu, same time, same tutor is our goal. Sessions are 55 minutes and start at the top of the hour. However, we are available 7 days a week, 9:00 - 9:00 PM to work around your schedule.
In-Person or Virtual
We are best known for our in-person tutoring at our location, 17086 Van Buren Blvd. @ Washington Street, in the Woodcrest Shopping Center with Stater Bros.
We are adding limited spots at Orange Terrace Community Center also.
Virtual sessions can be done via Zoom, Google, or Facetime.
All Subjects
When you sign up we try to find you a tutor for all your subjects for one price, it's so much more convenient. All levels of mathematics, science, Spanish, etc.
Reading Comprehension, phonics, fluency, writing, and more.
We tutor adults too!
36 Hours Notice
You can change your time, days, or tutors anytime, as long as you give us a 36 hour notice. If it's less than this we still try to accommodate you. One change in 12 hours.
Also, you can change your session to virtual if time or transportation is a problem
Reading & Math Assessments
We do offer simple reading and math assessments. Reading assessments can be done in the first session, and math assessments can be completed before your first session.
Free Reading Assistance
Wednesdays 3:15pm-4pm Starting up January 22, 2025
· My Learning Studio OUTREACH is teaming up with the Assistance League of Riverside to encourage the pleasure of reading to children in the 2nd and 3rd grades. Our focus will be on enhancing reading comprehension, fluency, and writing skills with the help of Riverside Assistance League volunteers.
· Students will also be given books supplied by the Riverside County District Attorney’s office, Asset Forfeiture Special Fund.

FREE Math Tutoring - Riverside County Residents
FREE* Math 8th – Algebra II Tu/Th 7:00 – 8:00 PM for those struggling, at-risk, or qualified
· We are offering free math tutoring for students who are struggling in mathematics. Includes Algebra, Integrated Math 1 & 2, Algebra 1 & 2, and Geometry. Increase your grades and receive assistance with homework!
· Tuesday and Thursdays 7:00 - 8:00 pm starting NOW
· This FREE* Event is for students that are struggling, at-risk, or qualified with My Learning Studio OUTREACH. Ask about the no-show policy.

Tuesday and Thursdays 7:00 – 8:00 PM for those struggling, at-risk, or qualified Starting up in Febr
· We encourage you to join this small group and private tutoring sessions focusing on math, language arts, study skills and test taking with the sole purpose of obtaining your GED.
· Made possible with a partnership with the Assistance League of Riverside

Students in Kinder to 7th grade are invited to stop by and select a book for a captivating journey through pages filled with wonder, wisdom, and the possibility of an epic adventure. Books are made possible by the Riverside County District Attorney’s office, Asset Forfeiture Special Fund.
READING + MATH = FUN! Coming Soon
Let's Dive In... READING + MATH = FUN is coming soon.
During our Reading + Math = FUN! Program, 1st - 5th grade students will read a math-related book, complete math worksheets, do a craft, and play a game utilizing the math concepts they learn, all while having fun and meeting new friends!
Every child will go home with a better understanding of math concepts and a book to share with family and friends. Here is some of what to expect:
- Students will investigate and identify math concepts in small groups.
- Students will play fun math-related games and activities.
- Students will build confidence in an exciting atmosphere.

Reading+Math=FUN! The program is limited to 18 students per session and is FREE for qualified students.
Qualified students are high-risk elementary school students who are in danger of failing.

Join us as we celebrate "Mardi Gras" Riverside Style with our Pardi Gras Pub Crawl!
Join 300+ pub crawlers as they descend Downtown Riverside on Friday, March 7, 2025 for “Pardi Gras Pub Crawl,” celebrating Mardi Gras in Riverside, while supporting My Learning Studio OUTREACH.
My Learning Studio OUTREACH (MLSO), a 501c3 nonprofit, located in Riverside has been serving low-income, foster, adopted, at-risk, and court-appointed children since 2008. They have offered more than 7,000 hours of FREE and fee-reduced tutoring since the Pandemic started. This is MLSO's largest fundraiser and we appreciate your participation and encourage you to donate towards your choice of "King and Queen."
A King or Queen of Riverside raises the most funds including sponsorships, tickets, and donations. If you are interested in how you can get more involved and become the next King or Queen of Riverside, give us a call at 951-789-5403.
