My Learning Studio OUTREACH (MLSO) offers tutoring for Kindergarten through 6th grade for reading comprehension and writing; and, Kindergarten through 9th grade for mathematics.  This program is possible thanks to partnerships with local colleges and university's Federal work-study students.

To qualify for discounted tutoring, a person must meet at least one of the criteria below:

If your income falls within the criteria below (includes those affected by COVID-19), you may qualify for aid. Tutoring rates may be discounted by the same percentage that your income was reduced, but not lower than $21.00 a session. 

If your gross yearly income, as verified on the previous year’s Federal Income Tax Return does not exceed the following amounts, you may qualify for $21.00 a session for private tutoring:

    $18,310 for 2-person family                  $37,190 for 6-person family

    $23,030 for 3-person family                  $41,910 for 7-person family

    $27,750 for 4-person family                  $46,630 for 8-person family        

    $32,470 for 5-person family

If you are foster, adopted, at-risk, or court-appointed, such as grandparent raising a grandchild, your family may qualify for aid. With proper documentation and approval, tutoring rates are as low as $21 a session.  

Periodically throughout the year, we offer FREE tutoring through various grants and sponsorships. If you would like to be placed on an interest list for FREE or discount tutoring, complete our registration form. Once we receive your inquiry, we will follow up concerning available programs. 

My Learning Studio OUTREACH reserves the right to determine whether or not a family may receive discounted services based on the documents they bring in to determine eligibility or otherwise. 

My Learning Studio OUTREACH may ask a family to re-verify their income as needed, or on an annual basis.

Although a family or person may qualify for a discounted rate, My Learning Studio OUTREACH cannot guarantee availability for tutoring. 

Discounted rates do not apply to the annual $49.99 family registration fee.
